Looks really good! Haven't seen too many legend lime stangs with black stripes, but that combo looks great!

Nice ride. Sounds real nice too. I saw you heading over the Iron Workers bridge last week.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I must say I love this new breed of Mustang. It is very fast but I do miss the seat of the pants feel my Mach 1 had. My Mach would go crazy through 3rd gear (albeit I had 4.30 gears) but this one just doesn't feel the same. I guess traction is a big thing but to me fun factor is a big thing also. Oh well I hear 4.10 really wake this beast up, I'll guess I will find out next week when they go in. From a performance stand point the 05 appears to be marginally faster if you watch the speedo at how quickly it rises but seat of the pants feel, my Mach was nuts.

Wolfie, I got pulled over for excessive noise over the second narrows a couple of weeks ago, the fine gentleman let me off with a warning and brought to my attention that my plate had been run 3 times in the last 48 hours......ooops. I guess they are out there watching. I didn't realize my setup was so loud, I have a feeling it's going to be nastier with the headers. Definetly doesn't sound that way in the car.

question, my hurst shifter does not have that piece like everyone elses. I'm talking about where it connects to the shift boot, I had to take my boot and stretch it over the rubber tubing around the bottom of the actually hurst stick. Any ideas on why I didn't get this piece or if it doesn't come with it? I see it on EVERYONES but mine.

SWEET ride btw.

There are 2 part numbers for the hurst shifter. One is the one Ford offers that retains the "stock shifter looks", the other is the one that comes with the chrome stick and white ball for classic "hurst looks", if you bought the one with chrome stick it should have come with the shifter boot adapter.
