So I'm going to work this AM in my Pilot regretting that i didn't take my stang today because the weather turned out better than I thought, when I look in my rearview mirror and see a black Mustang GT right behind me. So I'm admiring the car in my mirror(because you still don't see too many around here) at the same time kicking myself for not taking mine, I pull to the right to turn, and as he goes by his ride looks pretty decent with nice wheels and some rear window scoops.

My admiration soon turns to horror when he goes by and i notice he's got this huge F*&^^N rice wing on the back!! I had to restrain myself from chasing after him with a sawzall and cutting that POS off! How can we let this happen, I mean there outta-be-a-law people.

If anyone here on this forum is the person I'm talking about, you know who you are and you deserve to be banned , your car should be repo'd and you should have a restriction placed on your license that you cannot own or drive a muscle car!!!!

I swear if I see you at a muscle car meet you're gonna get an earful boy!!

I know what you mean, not into the rice thing myself. I love the color you have Redfire Metallic I think. Been looking at some GT'S and the GTO, both nice car's The GTO has a great engine but I just love the GT styling and their are a ton of upgrade part's for the stang.
For the money I am leaning towards the GT. Do you notice any cowl shake on your vert? I once had a 85 GT vert with 302, roller cam and headers all from the factory; but man would the dash shake all over the place, loved that car.

The current styling reminds me of my 67 Mustang fastback I had many moons ago. The more I think about it I will pull the triger on a GT.

No, these cars are relatively stiff. You have to remember the new stang was designed to be a convertible in the first place. The coupe actually got the benefit of that. They actually popped a roof on the coupe rather than chopping it off for the vert so to speak. My verts body is squeak free.

You know the GTO's got the power but not the styling, and it's not available in a vert. You'll get alot more notice in the stang if you want that. besides the GTO's getting canned soon anyway. Not many people want a car that isn't made anymore unless it was something special like a Buick GNX or something like that.

That being said this is definitely the most fun car i've ever owned, it's really only driven about 1-2 times a week and the only time this car sees water is when i drive past the beach!

We really need to setup a Mustang Abuse Hotline number. Someone needs to track these people down and stop em in their tracks. Perhaps you could follow the car and pull his pony and GT emblems then stick an "H" on the rear badge.

Tell you what this may **** you off but, when you pay the monthly for my car then you get say in what "I" want it to look like. You have an idea about your car and he had his dont be so quick to push your idea of whats rigth on others becuase theres always someone out there who will be more than happy to force theirs on you also.
