If that is directed to me then the answer is I won't know until my new tune is done and it goes back on the dyno to check the A/F ratio. If it is directed at paco then you can see his numbers in the sticky about S/C's.

ORIGINAL: GJP05

I should be closer to 600rwhp with all my mods. I have very good LCA and the car is lowered, now when I go to the track I'll try and get some better rubber as well.

600RWHP...??? are you sure about that..?? as ChevyKiller said our engines won't take that much power ..
and he is a pretty straight up guy.. THIS IS NOT A SLAM .. SO PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT AS SO.. it is just WOW..!!! 600RWHP.. is A LOT...!!

lets face it.. it is only a 289 block.. yeah I know we have two cams and fuel injection..

do you have a S/C ..?? and what else.. as I would love to have 500RWHP let alone 600..
btw: nice color.. I have the same... lol and nice hood .. I would love to have one... so if you get bored of that hood send me a PM or a e-mail as that hood would fit right on mine with no paint job needed....
EDIT.. spelling.. lol

Rex

The stock rotating assembly won't take that much power. The block itself is good for about 800hp and I have a forged rotating assembly.

GJP05,

where'd you get the rotating assembly? seen some advertised at SHM that look pretty good.

if you don't mind saying, how much time/money was installation?

I didn't buy a rotating assembly kit. I bought it in pieces and it was cheaper. I would not go with SHM, I have heard nothing but bad experiences with them. Your best bet is to find a local builder that does good work or buy a block that is already built and ready to drop in. The time will vary depending on what needs to be done to your block in order to rebuild it. I know that hawgman swears by a shop in Texas, you should ask him who they are and find out if they can do your rebuild. If your going to order a built block them give JDM, Boss330 racing, or VT engines a call.

Is it true what cervinis says about their hoods fitting perfect, did you have any hang ups with the fitment? I have planned on ordering one for a while, and now after seeing yours I think I made up my mind. nice car.......
