WTF has Black got to do with it ?
I don't know, maybe about the color being called one thing when it is actually another.

Seems self explanatory especially with your intial post stating how the torch red is under a different name.

Well I know according to the 06 color chart for cars from ford, they name colors differently between cars at times even though they are the same color.

Like tungsten gray is also known as tungsten on the taurus and crown vic, or tugnsten silver on the fusion.

On the focus and taurus, Light tundra clearcoat met is Titanium Green on the fusion and 500. Same color, same chip, same code, different name.

For optimal match, have your paint shop do a couple test samples (preferably on a similar plastic material, like a piece from another cars damaged bumper cover. A lot of shops are happy to do a couple samples for ya, varying the primer color, mfg, and sometimes air pressure. Do a comparision outside in full sun and in shade; a match under the florescent can be off quite a bit when seen in outdoor lighting. Shouldn't be necessary but they can vary the tint slightly to get it "right on". Normally non-metallics are an easy straight match.
