Thanks, mlcrycc, that was an old post that was quite fun to read. Can anybody confirm that when you put the windows down using the fob that the only way other than getting back into the vehicle is to stick the key in the cylinder and turn it?

No problem, and yes, for me anyway, that's the only way to put the windows back up....

I think it said somewhere only 1/05 to 4/05 had it enabled or something like that...not sure though

 

to roll the windows back up ... put ur key into the key hole on the driver's side (there isnt one on the passenger side) and turn to the right and hold ... the window will go up as long as the key is turned to the right

 

It is a pretty simple Aftermarket Mod to do..

I had windows up and down on most of my other cars...as long as you have power windows...which we all do..

Most Stereo, alarm places can do the install for you..but i to wish i had it from the factory..

 

I had aftermarket key fobs and the feature for windows did not work so I went and bought a OEM key from ford programed it myself and it worked instantly if you have an aftermarket key fob that might be the problem
