A word of warning from one of many that broke their windshield removing their mirror...

Ford seems to have used several different mirror mounts over the years, some are easy to remove,some nearly impossible -Please just heedthis advice. If your mirror seems difficult to remove STOP - take your car to a professional and have them remove the old mirror. If you happen to have a mirror that removes easily count yourself lucky.
