I always thought a metallic pearl color (like an off-white/beige) would look great on a black mustang.
Red is a bit much for my taste. Of your options, I would go with white.

Ultimately, it's your choice but here's my opinion since you asked. I think you should stay away from white because there is too much contrast. I owned an interior painting/decorating business for a few yrs and I can tell you that the difference between a professionally decorated room and one decorated by a novice is that the professional looks to blend colors elegantly so your eye doesn't focus on any one specific thing. A well decorated room has balance and lets your eye flow around the room without any major visual obstacles like a pink piano with green stripes. This kind of contrast acts like a visual speed bump and interrupts that flow. Moreover, don't simply choose silver because it's an obvious choice. There are lots of gray shades such as charcoal, slate, pewter & gunmetal etc. Choose a color that compliments and lets your eyes flow and appreciate the beauty of the entire car. Don't choose a stripe color that screams look at me. Sometimes the answers we seek lie totally in an unrelated field. I could write all day on this topic or you could simply look at the picture below posted by r3velation. Now that's just gorgeous. Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words!

i've personally always loved this look, and i'll probably go with this color stripe for my car in the near future.

it's subtle, yet still striking to me.

if youre doing vinyl go matte black

if painting go dark silver. IMO red contrasts too much, looks out of place, and takes over a black stang.
