Default Considering the Xenon Hood Scoop but...

I'm worried about securing it on with just tape. I understand it does not come with bolts. How long will the tape hold? What about high speeds on a rare occasion?

I have one installed. I did notice at speeds above 55-60 it wanted to come up alittle in the front so i ended up using some aircraft epoxy to help bond the front of it to the hood. That part of the hood is very plyable.

Make sure you open the hood area under the scoop and make it functional, that will help keep it in place. If you don't open the hood then its non functional and not worht the cash spent on it.

There is a stamped pattern on the underside of the hood that could be followed, but a "taped" on scoop would concern me, and don't drive it in the rain unless you want water all over the engine.

Well I like the look of the Xenon more than the Roush but if it doesn't bolt down I guess I'll have to go with the Roush. I understand that the Roush does bolt down.

I'd be afraid it would fly off doing 130+ lol. That and wouldn't it cause the car to be less aerodynamic?
