Rumor has it there's an insurance company in London that will insure you.

edit: and that's what I get for not reading the last post before I post. See Rench's comment - they really will insure anyone for anything![sm=gears.gif]

Tell your dad if you can't race at the tracks. You will keep it on the streets.

Check this out, Racecar insurance
AO underwriters will insure you through Loyds of London. Runs me 550 a year.
Thanks alot guys, Ill have to show this to my dad and see what he says. You guys might have just saved my racing hobby after all!

Yeah thats what I said to him when he told me I wasnt allowed to race at the track anymore.. I said ok Ill just go downtown on saturday nights and street race and take the chance of getting arrested and he just kinda ignored me.

Im thinking the main thing he is worried about is totalling the car and having to buy another one in order for me to get to school.. Makes sense, I understand that.. but the risk just isnt very big. Granted.. IF I did wreck it, that would suck *** because we would have to finish off paying for it, out of pocket, with no money from insurance AND buy another car... but I just dont see myself wrecking the car going 100 mph anytime soon. IMO thats not that fast and its certainly not the first time Ive been to those speeds. Maybe the race insurance will ease his mind.
