Since my car wont be delivered untill mid to late september, ( ordered July 13). I have been buying some parts so when I return to the states from Iraq I wont have to wait for parts to be shipped and It seems alot of things I am ordering require a tune.
My question is how can I get the tunes required for these parts? I have a SCT that came with my CAI but don't want to buy a new SCT with tunes. Yes I am a noob when it comes to the SCT and tuning a car (6 of the past 9 years spent over seas so out of touch a bit).
Can you buy them from the companys I buy the parts from? or do I need to find a shop that will dyno tune the car? I plan to install everything myself so wont need a shop but if I do I think the closest shop from where I am stationed at is Delk performance in lebanan tenesee about 100 miles away. So far my CAI, Headers w/h-pipe, and the supercharger system all have an option to buy an included SCT w tunes. I only want to buy one SCT so any input will be greatly appreciated.

You can use your SCT and dyno tune your car. That would be the best way. Or you can contact Brenspeed and they can email you tunes to download to your SCT. I think he charges $75 a tune but don't hold me to that.

 

Get with http://teamjdm.com/, they have tuned a lot of 50+ cars. You can talk to Jim III and tell him what you have on the car and they can build a tune for you.
