Default Stupid Gas Gauge

So this is the second time this has happened....I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if there is a TSB that I can reference when I take it in because it is an intermittant problem...

So the problem is that last night I filled up the gas tank and all of a sudden on the drive home the light comes on and the gauge drops to E....Then slowly on the rest of the drive home it creaps back up. When I got home I shut it off and turned it back on and it read full....What the hell is going on? So I am going to take it in to the dealer, but I am affraid that with it being an intermittant problem that without a TSB to reference they will just say "bring it back when it is doing it" but that has never happened when it is convenient.....

Any thoughts.....

I have a new 06 that did the same thing a few days ago. The tank only had a half a tank when it happened though. I am waiting for it to do it again for me to bring it in.
