Whats the widest rim anyone has put on our cars (on the rear not the front) ... or the widest rim possible? I know alot of people put 10's but can we go wider without rubbing the inside of the wheel well, maybe 10.5 or 11"? Thanks

You could go wider, but it would look stupid and the rim would have to have a real low or negative offset. The offset is the distance the center mounting hub of the wheel is from the actual center of the wheel. The offset is negative when the hub of the wheel is behind the center of the wheel. Sometimes this is the case on deep dish wheels. I may be wrong, but this is how I understand it.

 

Well.. I didnt want my wheels to stick out of the fender and I also dont want them rubbing, so Im just wondering what the widest rim is that I can fit under there without issues or looking stupid.. I have always hated the look of the those trucks and cars where the wheels stick out 4 inches past the fender
