Um, most states have some sort of program where you can take a driver improvement class, I know here in Florida we do, Ive had friends that have done it. What happens is when you go to pay your ticket, you can elect to take a class or fight the ticket or just pay for it. If you choose to take the class, they lower your ticket price a bit and then you have 90 days to take the class and prove to them that you passed. Once thats done, they remove all the points off your license and it keeps your record clean. After thats done no one will ever be able to even find out that you had a ticket, there will be no points, or any record of a ticket.. clean slate for you. Helps alot with insurance companies.. because they never even find out about the ticket, which keeps your rates the same.

Haaaaa....funny you mention that...last thursday I was running late to class and apparently I was doin 54 in a 35, got one nice a$$ 4 point, $180 ticket. The officer had such an attitude towards me and my car, and me being responsible. Funny thing is though there was traffic all around me and I was in the middle of the pack so to speak. I could go to court and bring a lawyer, but i've decided to just take the class and make SURE all points will be erased and my insurance wont go up $5000. You can take the class once in a 12 month period but no more than 5 times in your life.......It's a nice option... I just have to play it cool for another 12 months now lol...

escort passport best 300 bucks i ever spent can and i can vouch for it pick up a radar at least 1.5 miles away if decently flat surface. only way they can get you if you pay attention is auto on and laser you know you got hit with a laser just no way around it it wont go off till you get nailed, cause the beam is so small.
I have got alot of tickets and I have always got them off my record by taking defensive driving classes or asking for defered judification. Tickets are easy to keep off your record here is Texas. Deferred judification is risky though. Instead of the ticket going on your record you get put on probation. If you get a ticket in that probation period your screwed.
off topic looking at ur myspace and then computer please dont tell me you are zomggg
edit also so your little ford sayng there that reminded me of a funny one and i know ima get flamed for saying it but it was ford is like a tampon every p*ssy needs one

You can thank your slp's for that ticket...he heard you coming.
Tickets suck...don't you have defensive driving...here in Texas we can take defensive driving if we you have not had a ticket in one year...and after you take it (online is way easy) the ticket just goes away.

What state are you in? In NC you just have to know the right attorney and it will "go away"
Sorry to hear about your ticket!

I got a 62 in a 45 monday. The cop said that he could not offer me driving school since it was 15+ over, so I would have to go to court and beg (blow?) the DA to let me go and erase the ticket. But now I have over a dozen letters from lawyers sitting on the counter. Those guys can smell money like flies on sh*t.
So, in NC court or lawyer???
Oh about the school bus thing, sorry but I think you are screwed. There is no sympathy regarding such matters...
Sorry for the late post,
In MD, if it's your first ticket and you got to court, you will likely get "Probation before Judgement", which means if you're good for three years they will forget about the ticket. If you get another ticket, though, they can hold you accountable for the first one.
Even though this means you have to go to court, people with good records are often offered PBJ as a group before the judge actually starts.
In most cases you will do better by going to court, even if it is just reduced points. They generally want the money anyway. It's kind of like buying a PC from Dell, order online and you pay the web price, call'um and you can ask for $50 off and sometimes they will give it to you, but you have to call and ask.
