Front Suspension Problem (yes, i know there's a TSB, still got question)
hi guys, i have the problem of the front suspension popping sound but i dont like to take it in to the dealer. i ordered the eibach lowering kit and the tockico d specs. i'm looking at them as i write this. i could make the install right now. but my question is, will i still be needing to send my car in after the new springs are installed?? or should this new springs and shocks take care of the problem??
i just dont want the dealer saying it is my fault because of modding the suspension and blaming me.
thanks a lot!!!!

Yeah the sound SHOULD go away, but you might want to take it in and have them document that you brought it in stock with that problem. That way if the problem persists, they cant say it due to the mods as it existed before them.

so is a tsb basically a recall that they dont call everyone in unless its bothering them. Also in the tsb section, do the 05 06 and 07 tsb sections have specific to that year or are they generic because the updates for the 05s stops in like 05, jw

Yeah, changing shocks/struts and springs will probably get rid of the sounds like Stang Skeleton said. Thats a good idea btw, to take it into dealer b4 changing the stock parts.

I had that noise... but when I pulled the passenger side strut, the top of the strut assembly fell apart! All the ball bearings were rolling around... fixed 'em by hand, then ended up over torquing a bolt, so I had to buy a whole new top strut piece for a whole $20...
But we did retorque the bolts to the recommended spec, so the combo may have solved the mysterious squeek...
