Default inside rim---oily residue

Just pulled my car out to give it a nice detail job. Walked back into the garage and noticed some weights on the ground. (balancing weights) So I took it up to the tire shop where I bought my tires and just got a rotation done last week. Havent driving it since the rotation except about 10 miles or so. Got there and they said all weights are accounted for, which they were on all rims. I know some have more than others or double lines. BUT I noticed on my front passenger rim that it had a OILY FILM on the inside of the rim and around the brake lines, around the bottom of the shock area and the A arm I beleive thats what its called. The guy said it might be from the A/C leaking its normal fluid but I didnt have the A/C on at all. Besides its a oil residue not water. Anyone have an idea on what that might be?? Thanks

Maybe your Front Shock is leaking...?

Shock looked good. Just had a lite residue around it. Gonna look at it tomorrow and see if it looks any different. Might be taking a trip up to the dealership and get them to check it out. Dunno
