PWC you'll probably be OK weight wise, but still you're going to have problems with water invading your car. Not a good thing.

I wouldn’t be to concerned with the water reaching the rear-end because I can just about guarantee if you try launching or retrieving a boat you will have to be more concerned with getting your car towed out of the lake and then drying the inside of the car once it got submerged in the lake.

While I know these cars have “traction control†I would again put some good money up that you will not get any good traction on a boat ramp…

That's a really good idea. You should do it. Take your camera please.

Do everyone a favor- roll up the windows and lock the doors... and oh- and chain yourself to the steering column.

I have a hidden hitch on my 89 GT and have used it several times! The car is approaching 220k and running like a champ. But the one thing I dont think I would ever try is launching a boat. I have a Taylor Jet boat I have no doubt that either my 06Gt or my 89 GT could pull no problem, but the risk of submerging your rear diff is just to great. You would probably get the boat or PWC out of the water with no problem because the hitch would be so low your weight on the tounge of the trailer would give you extra force for traction on your axle... But like what has been stated even before me... TO BIG OF A RISK OF SUBMERGING WHAT ISNT MADE TO BE SUBMERGED. Borrow a friends truck. Im sure anyone would be happy to trade you to get to drive your GT for a little while!
