Wondering what material is better for the Retro looking tail light bezels. Polished Stanless steel or Chrome plated ABS plastic ones. Im wondering basically what will hold its shine without tarnishing and also not scratch as easily as a black s197's paint [&:]

Im thinking stainless ones will tarnish and plastic ones will chip (Murphys law). Take your pick... [8D] Then again you can always polish steel to get rid of tarnish, you cant "touch up" chipped chrome, they would have to be totally re-chromed.

Chrome metal and polished stainless, both were used on exterior body parts. Chrome metal and chrome plastic on interior parts.

Hey Beestang, just a note saying that your GT is lookin' great!
Normally I would hesitate to put chrome on a new car, but with the white paint & black grill it just goes really well, the chrome mirror cover, fog light bezels, and doorhandle too?
Somebody's gonna want a screensaver from you!
