Hi, what you will get is another brand new car to drive! I have an 07 5 speed manual, and it made a HUGE difference in power from off idle to wide open. Since you have an automatic, your tune will be different and Brent at Brenspeed will set it up for you perfectly.
Go to Brenspeed.com its listed here on this site with all the other companies before the forums. Most definitly, get the C&L cold air intake to replace your stock set up. This will make your off idle lag in throttle responce you have now, be replaced with a quick revving very responsive throttle responce. But for an automatic, the tune sets your transmission shift points higher im told, and it will shift harder. Second gear scratch will be easy. Its the best you can do performance wise, as far as "bang for the buck" because it also gives you much better gas mileage once you get used to the new power and begin to stop flooring it every chance you get! You will have an 87 octane, 91, and 93 octane tune and the SCT will store you stock set up if you want to return to stock.
Just do it!!

Doesn't the tune actually add more ponies than the CAI?

You know, you could be right. But the total performance gained with the CAI and the tune is too much to over look. If you talk to Brent, at Brenspeed he can explain it in detail better than I. Naturally he is in business to sell performance parts to us, so you might think he would push anything, but he wont. The SCT X-cal2 and the C&L CAI are made for each other in my opinion.
I promise, you will be amazed how much better your GT will run and everywhere, not just low end or top end, right off idle, to wide open. I now get at least 20 miles to the gallon in the city and I never baby it. On the highway, I have got 25 to 28 mpg if I set the cruise, and that is at 80mph, on mostly open level ground in West Texas.
