Anyone added aftermarket cd players....
I know you need the harness. But what else is needed to add an aftermarket deck to the shaker system. I have seen some people mention something about resistors. What's that about? Thanks

From one Brandon to another....
The resistor thing is for the difference in volts going to the subwoofers in the door. The S500 sends 5 volts, but the aftermarket decks send 12 volts so you need to put a 5 volt regulator in line. Otherwise you get a loud pop when you power on. It doesn't do any damage.

That looks fricken awesome. What resistor do I need (a picture or part # would be great lol) and where does it go? Also, can you use the stock amps?

I had my shop install a 5V Regulator from Radio Shack with aluminum heat sink AND a resistor just to be safe with the stupid popping noise that was driving me bananas. The noise is gone by the way.

Hi there, which kind of radio do you have there? It looks like a touch screen type. It looks great!
