Seriously though, I think you'd have to custom fabricate something to work(mucho dinero amigo). The Lincoln LS/T-Bird stuff probably won't work and the previous gen Cobra definitely won't, at least bolt up-wise. I think buckling down that rearend with better than factory pieces will add a bigger smile to you and your wallet.....ever consider a coil-over conversion?

yeah, my other car is a 91 240sx and after driving that around some corners, then i drive the mustang it feels like im steering a fat pig. you can feel the difference big time.

i'm defiently going with coil overs, sway bars, struts for now hell i'll probably get some poly urethane bushings while im doing all that, and LCAs lol

Ok Kaldar,.......... it is what it is.
I respect your opinion, HOWEVER,......
IF you feel you are driving a "fat pig",.. you, Sir.... don't deserve a MUSTANG. Try driving any 66-72 'Stang, and then state your opinion.
IMHO

I just think he's poking fun......the S197 is a larger 2 door sports coupe, and coming from a smaller, lighter and IRS equipped JapCrap, of course the 'Stang's gonna feel, well, LARGE. I drove European Ford Capris for over 15 years before getting into trucks and now, Mustangs! The Mustang does feel very large and heavy, but with a lot of grip and balance...too bad Ford leaves too much
off the cars to make better use of these traits(i.e. too soft of springs, cheap suspension pieces, too small a rear sway bar). With proper pieces these cars can be made into animals(I drove a Roush Stage 2 and there's a noticeable difference). I see both perspectives and no, the S197 isn't a big fat pig, but maybe a piglet?(hahaha)

how is a 60s stang going to go around a corner better then a 05 stang? and if they do that isnt exactly good engineering for a older car to out perform a newer car in such terms as handling.
