Mine had a advertisment plate on it, took it off and used 2 small black plastic trim pop in retainers and you would never know they were there. Clean looking without the plate.

Concur.. it's the law in CA to badge front and rear plates... I just got pulled over by CHP and was reminded! Most likely, here's why (see pics)... still haven't got my plates, (CA DMV takes forever), so no fix-it-ticket this time.

Now i can see getting pulled over with that type of plate on it, your just asking to get pulled over. But it's really going to depend where you live, Around here, If you mind your own business and don't drive stupid, you'll be fine. Police and Chip's are a fine group around here, But if you give them a reason to look at you, Then there going to see all of you............

yea mine was drilled already but i didnt mind much since i knew i was changin the bumper

The dealer had already drilled for the plate frame when I bought mine.
Took it off, and got some plastic tabs that I painted to match.
Hardly noticable.
