Default Burning plastic smell

Ok, so last week I was cleaning my engin bay with those armorall whipes. Cleaned upa few spots that had gotten a bit dirty such as the brake fluid resevoir, ect. From then on though when I drive the car for a bit and then am either sitting in traffic or at a stop, I smell a sort of burning plastic smell. As soon as I open the hood it goes right away. I have had the car run for a while and looked/smelled under the hood but see/smell nothign with the hood open. Everything looks normal, car runs normal as well. Checked and made sure no bag was under the car or anything like that either. The smell does seem milder now a week later but still there.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? I figure if I bring it to a dealer they will tell me there is no smell, ect.

I noticed this smell a lot when the car was new. I don't smell it anymore.

I had this happen as well. It showed up when the outside temp was pretty hidh. I looked under the car and noticed that on one of the exhaust pipes ther was at one time a sticker (such as a part #) and it had burned off. I think it is possible that there may be some residule left on the pipe and will continue to burn off until its gone.
