If I understand correctly then a 17x10.5 would require a 70mm offset. Is this correct?

10.5-8.5 = 2 / 2 = 1" (approx 25mm) 50mm + 25mm = 75mm.

But you won't find this offset, so 10.5 rims will stick outward by the amount of offset less than 75mm.
