Default RE: Amplifier Install question

I just put a system in the vert but I yanked the shaker out and put in a Kenwood double din/w 6x8 kenwood speakers all round and a 10" sub in trunk...$600 total and I can run ipod. wow...kills the shaker.....but anyway to answer your question I used a line out converter on my previous two cars-RX-8 and a Lexus IS300. Works fine. I tapped into the rear speakers and used a high quality converter from Crutchfield and an active crossover to split out the sub frequencies. Sounded great. Boom! Make sure you get a high quality converter. Very important.

Could probably forgo the crossover and use a just sub amp. I used a Baja 700 for $100 at crutchfield on my stang and it rattles the doors w a 10" sub.
