new wheels won't balance, yes I tried "search"

The other day (on this site), I found a fix for steering wheel vibration- the guy had to remove retaining "clips" on his spindle studs in order to solve his problem.

Now I can't find the thread at all. I've looked back over and over.... also used "search".

Did you remove the clips...? Sounds like you identified the problem...

Thats basically what the thread advised.

The clips youre referring to hold the rotor down. Theyre basically flat washer looking things on 2 of your studs. grab a pair of side cut pliers and rip em right off. Also, if that doesnt help (I dont think it will) you might need some hub-centric rings to center your wheel onto the hub properly. Im also assuming youre using aftermarket wheels.
