Maybe I'm crazy, but when I fill up, I put in half a tank of Shell 93 and half a tank of Mobil 93. IMO, I get better mileage with Mobil, better performance with Shell. My brother suggested using half and half, so I tried it. At least for me, that combo works very well. And I read an article in Popular Science about the quality of fuels...Shell, Chevron, along with 2 other fuel companies (I can't remember them) apparently have ties to BMW...they forged an aliance to put certain additives/detergents in their premium fuels which effectively clean the fuel system, extend engine life, and burn cleaner...just some food for thought...I do know that Mobil wasn't one of them...

I've seen Valero gas stations popping up all over CT...how does that gas work for any of you?

Only product I do use is Fuel Power. See lubecontrol.com and look at BOBISTHEOILGUY forum. Lots of info.

didnt rygen just blow his stock motor because of a fuel addadative? never add anything to your tank....it either A. does nothing and isn't worth the money or B. does something you don't want it to do.
