Where do you even have nitrous bottles filled... and can you buy extras that way you can just switch them out and dont have to keep getting one filled every time it runs out?

Maybe if you are power shifting! If you lift your foot when you shift then how can nitrous cause a problem? All the kits i've seen spray at WOT only.

with a 50 shot it wouldn't be more than a tickle on the engine. I would recommend a 75 shot if you wanna be safe anything over you need a tune. I am currently running a 150 shot, no problems yet. Of course it is all in the tune and knowing well your transmission. I have missed shifts 2x and nothing has yet to happen, I do know that missing shifts on nitrious is what specially get motors blown up or excessive wheel spin.

Pro: initially cheaper than any other mod when dividing HP by dollar amount.
Con: $20 to refill the bottle each time

wow... so how often does the bottle run out?

It may not be $20, but that's probably close. I read that a 10lb. bottle will last 5-6 1/4 mile passes with a 125hp jet. So a 75 shot might get you 8 or 9 passes.
It would last a while for me on the street because I don't get that many WOT opportunities.
Another con is you have to keep the bottle closed unless you know you're going to use it (just what i've read). That's probably to keep the solenoid from wearing out prematurely. They make remote bottle openers though, but now it starts getting pricey adding all this extra stuff.
Blinkage, you can buy an extra bottle, but they ain't cheap.

Just wondering.. dont mean to jack the thread but its kind of relevant.. can one do FI and N2O?

Yes but the shot has to be lower such as a 25 or 50 shot because the gains will be more when running nitrous and f/i.
