I'm Addicted
Wow! thanks for the welcome!
Its a GT Premium 5 spd. I'm still working out all the shifting. The first week I drove it like a baby (hardly over 3k rpm), I've opened it up a bit more now (4500-5500) and I still can't find my eyebrows. I'm not really used to hearing an engine growl that hard, so i'm still a little tense when I push it, but it she seems to like it.
To me its a whole new world and damn do I have a lot to learn. My dad calls me every few days all excited telling me about this mod or that I "could do". I'm still so new to it all i'm a little intimidated about adding on anything but i'm already starting a x-mas list.
The amazing thing about this all, is my wife, who knows I always wanted a mustang, came home on friday and said, lets go get you a new car. And by monday I was driving it home. Granted we don't have kids yet, but damn what a woman!
I don't "drive" anywhere anymore...I ride out. I hated running errands, now I love them. I sit at my desk and make Vroom noises periodically. Damn if I'd only known sooner...
Anyhow, many props to you guys for the warm welcome and more importantly the stockpile of awesome information available here. Makes it feel like family, and now I know i'm truly home at last.

Welcome bro. this car with its heritage and history will get into your blood. How many cars can you really say that about?
Once a stang owner, always a stang owner. Enjoy every minute of it.

I'll get the pics up this weekend. She's in need of some attention first..and it looks like rain today. Its bad when you itching to wash your car. Don't know about you guys, but them tires seem to sling up a good bit of filth after a rain 'er two.
