Default 05 Throttle Body issues-throwing codes

Anybody with an 05 Mustang GT having problems with the throttle body throwing codes? Need some help or advice.
I have a tech working on it now for the second day. No help so far. Any ideas?

Yes, get rid of the throttle body. With your blower you don't need a bigger TB anyways. If you want more power get a different pulley.

They are notorious for this. Do a forum search for "throttle body" and you will get to read all the past horror stories about them. Thrown codes and tuning hassles are par for the course.

I don't see an aftermarket T/B in your mod list, but if that is the case, I agree with Al 110%. If it is OEM, then you probably have a bad T/P switch or Throttle control motor. Take the intake off and have someone cycle the key. You should see the butterflies snap open and shut as the car does it's self test.

+1 with Crazyal! I was going to get one myself and did a search first and saw that they suck... well are giving problems to mosy anyway... I ended up getting a TB spacer for my stock TB and that was fine. Good luck on the car.

$73 for a TPS replacement and 5 minutes to change it out.

There is a TSB on this I believe... so if you are (mostly) stock, you should have the dealer fix it...

You may want to base your repair efforts according to the codes your vehicle sets. Often the trained techs are confused on exactly what the fault code indicates - likely the information the public is privy to won't provide the detail necessary to properly diagnose the issue. If you can get the codes it is setting, I can tell you what you need to do.

tb gave me 11rwhp/13rwtq...but in all honesty, the idle problems and the occasional failsafe mode aren't worth the hassle
