255s?

RE: 255s?
I have aftermarket 255's all the way round on my ride. They're on 18x9" rims.
As for the handling, I must admit that they do wander a bit under braking when there's any uneveness in the road. The stock Goodrich TA's didn't do that.

Sorry, the picture doesn't show them too clearly....

RE: 255s?
Kaldar,
FYI. I just put the stock Goodrich 235's onto my aftermarket wheels and the wandering issue is gone. The 255's definitely had an effect on the steering under braking.
You may want to consider an alignment if you go wider than stock.

ORIGINAL: glastron
If I wanted 18x9 in front and 18x10 in the rear, what tire sizes would be best performance wise?
How about if I went 18x9.5 all around?
Thanks

RE: 255s?
Perfect fits for 9"=255, 10"=275 or 285. There are 25.4mm per inch so you need to jump about 20-30mm per 1' increase in wheel width. Of course you can vary this, I've seen 235's on 9.5 inch rims and it just looks stupid. It's a curb rash waiting to happen.
