I really like my Nitto 555's and I think they make the car sit just right. The rear is 295 and the front is 255. I know these are 18's and you bought 20's but I just thought I'd show them to you anyway. I like having more sidewall to help soften the ride a bit. The Z06 with lower profiles rides much harsher and that's with a thousand dollars worth of adjustable shocks.

i think it may depend on your rim, but i very much regret putting 285s on my rears. the tire actually slants inward on the rim, providing absolutely no curb protection and looking a little silly.
my rears are supposed to be 20x10s, but the rears are actually wider then 10" and should have taken a 295 and could even have fit 305s.

I wish I had more in the rear too.

If you're planning on lowering your car don't even think about 30-- every time you hit a bump you'll feel like your car is about to fall apart. I'm running 275/40/18 with FRPP handling pack and yet I think the ride is a bit too rough-- not for me, but for the car that is.
P.S. As for the brand, don't go Nitto. I had those POS'es for 1 day and took them off because every time you launch it feels like somebody spilled oil or something all over them-- no traction at all.
