Are they in short demand again?? I got all 4 bulbs at autozone and there were more still sitting on the hook.

I have had the Silverstars for about 4 months without any issues. They are an improvement over the stock bulbs. I kinda wish they would go ahead and burn out to give me an excuse to buy the Silverstar Ultras.....or a Bi Xenon kit

Hope the silverstars work better in the mustang, I had them in my 03 Altima and they burn out every 3 months. I like more light so I changed the fogs to PIAA driving lights. awsome light and they look almost original.

Which series are direct replacements? Do you have any close up photos taken after you converted over?

TIA

I had Silverstars in my old car for 4 years, both low beams and fog lights.

I had to replace ONE bulb, and that was the driver's side fog light. I think it broke due to vibration, as I'd had the car lowered, and I also clipped the front end once doing autocross (nothing major, just a couple of cones killed)

Centurion96 The driving lights are 40 series, and the kit that makes it all work and has everythingis #4064. This is the only pic I have of the front, car is put away for winter. If you blow up the pic you can see they fit in the hole and not behind like the originals. The kit cost me $250.00can.

Save your money and buy an HID kit. I promise, you'll never go back to conventional bulbs/headlights again. I first put them in my Mazda6, then had to have them in my Dakota R/T. Then HAD to have on in my Gixxer 600 and now they're going in my GT!
