I made an oops.
Well, I'm not sure what you meant by "Pushing it all the way through" but I would think I "pushed it all the way through" it's past the little rubber stops and it's just floating around in the column. It's kinda hard to see in there and I really didn't feel like bothering with it after getting home... and I still don't feel like bothering with it quite frankly. I just wanted to know if there was an easy way of removing it. I don't wanna tamper with anything and have an airbag pop me in the jaw.
This thread is funny because I actually did that once. Anyway, If it was the left one turn the wheel ninety degrees to the left(from centered) and it should fall to where you can get it with the screwdriver. If it was the other just turn the wheel the other way, it should fall to the hole.

Too bad you didn't buy a black convertible....rumor has it if you hit the left button three times theright one twice and honk 7 times the car will start it's transformation into a shelby.....than when you turn it off it will fold up into a suitcase like george jetson's car.

My car feels so much faster after I pushed the left one in!
You do know that all of this stuff is in the manual (which none of us read). Yes it is, see appendix C but only when you turn it upside down and read from the back to the front. The sub text is very small but there it is "hipo mode - how to activate". One warning though, it must be activated after intial break period of 1,000 miles. The flux capacitor is not in the manual. That is properitary to the Delorean automobile, however, Ford may put it on their cars by another name from an obscure vendor. Check your manuals!
