I bought an auto also for 2 reasons: 1.) Occasionally I drive in Houston. Did it before with a stick and it's a major workout. 2.) Occasionally wife may have to drive my car and she isn't used to a stick shift (and I'd like to keep the transmission.)

In Midland you shouldn't have to worry about your pipes rusting. I live East of Waco but work off of South Louisiana. Car is parked next to the coast right now, so I wanted SS all the way.

The clutch is not bad at all -- take it from me. I fight hardcore LA traffic twice a day, and I love having a manual trans!

My car won't be driven in the snow/ice since I have a truck too. TheMustang is basically a weekend/nice weather car. Since this is the case, do you guys think that since the mufflers are "aluminized steel", will the occasional rain and carwashing cause the muffler to rust as fast as a normal muffler? Or does the fact that it is aluminized help to inhibit the rust on them.
