well i not for sure what alarm I have, but it was the one with the 395.00 option.

first ? is. How do you arm the system without it honking? I got to work early in the morning and have 2 quick honks is probably getting old to the roomate.

2nd? is. I'm used to the Fararri locking when I walk away after 30 seconds or so automatically? So when I get out of my mustang and leave I always forget to lock the car.

I searched too, but couldnt find any help.

Well, don't know exactly which alarm you have, but on mine, first push of the lock button arms the alarm, and flashes the taillights.(no beep) Second press of the alarm affirms the arming of the alarm, with a horn beep......I think.....

correct, like for example when a door is left open.

 

They aren't He's used to them in his other car, which is why he's leaving his Mustang unlocked by accident.
