tri-bar horses and front grill question
hey all, Ive just picked up an 06 pony package and am starting to personalize it. The question I have is....Are the tribar horse emblems on the front fenders simply placed there with 2way tape, or do they have prongs on them that will have little holes in the fender?
Also, Im not certain about the 2006 front ends but my lower grill (underneath the front plate, has 2 rectangular cut outs about 3"x2". It hasnt been cut out by the previous owner as he has told me it came that way and it DOES have a factory feel to it ie. no cut marks or cut out burrs. Does anyone know why ford did this? My 05 didnt have them.
thanks

RE: tri-bar horses and front grill question
I got a pair of the tri-bar running pony emblems at Johns Mustang that do not have the pins, just the 3M adhesive. Guess is is no problem just to break off the pins and grind them smooth with a dremel tool. The pins line up with the factory holes for the GT emblem. The V6 without pony package do not have any emblem and thus no holes. Am sure you are not about to drill holes, so break off the pins
