Cool!! Hey, while you are on eBay, stop by my store. I am selling an amazing product as well. It was featured in a 2004film titled 'Napoleon Dynamite'.It is a time machine that only requires electricity!

I also teach a self-defense class that was featured in the same movie, some land in Florida andBridge in New York.

Jim, have you read through this post? We're way beyond that.
yeah seriously, we're on the virge of inventing a real working electric supercharger here.

dont think fan, think of a garret turbo with the shaft sticking out the exhaust inlet side and connected to a electric motor via some gear reduction system to let it work without using 200 amps of power. also being able to be controlled by a custom tune so it responds in unison with the throttle position sensor.

I checked out the pictures section, I believe they hired a 2 year old to take those because they really do suck. As for the product, 41hp on a Sentra??? Ooooooooook

Thomas Knight has at least put the time into it, his Eaton design looks interesting.

I was going to do that. It's all part of my master plan. First I'll put a K&N on my heater box, then I'll use the heater fan (on high of course) to boost my intake through the heater hoses. Soon as I get the details worked out I'll patent the system and be a millionaire. Until then I'll just use my nitrous.

I bought one. I got 250 HP out of it. Highly recommended.

so what happens when you nail the throttle from a stop and hit the nitrous with traction control on? does the car freak out and puke on itself? just curious if anyone with juice has done that?

damn i just did some googling and found this:

Holset H1C or HX35 turbos can spin at up to 140,000 rpm - hmm, that would mean gearing the motor up not down, which would increase the load on the motor. time to research supercharger speeds

Yeah I just started looking into that. It is obvious that it would have to be geared up, (bigger pully turning smaller pully). A good size electric motor will spin 3000rpms or less. I need to find out the specs on the full size electric car motors. I saw them use one a mythbusters once and it looked good. It would be better to use a s/c anywayfor this idea because it is already designed to be mechanically turned rather thenby turbine gasses. The only problem is that these motors are really heavy...maybe like 50lbs....thats not good. The best inovation would be a s/c and motor all in one. The compressor would be right in the motor housing connected to the motor's armature.
