dirtiest mustang
OK....I am in-between lectures....taking a little break. This is a contest that I think I canactually win. I have hadthe car almost 5 months nowand havesprayed water on it once, no soap though(maybe 4 months ago?). How often do you wash, clean, and even wax your beautiful mustangs? Iwill likelynever wash mine. I think the daily build up of dirt, oil, grime, and rubber (by rear wheel wells) gives mine character.

You should let lots of grime build up, it will form a protective barrier over the paint which will deflect rocks and stop paint chipping. True story!

That is shameful. [sm=icon_beat.gif]I wash mine in winter even when the ice is in the wash bay. Wax it in my garage once every 2 weeks or less. Summer, it's like a every other day thing. Waxing about the same except outside. I use a body scrub to remove old wax, then cleaner wax, then carnuba.

My wife thinks im nuts too. I just took the tires off mine to clean and repaint the whel wells so they stay black. I also pull my rims off once a month to clean the brack dust off the back. WAX twice a month WASH every time it gets wet or I roll through water, LEATHER COND. twice a month

RE: dirtiest mustang
Can't wash mine now. Went out this morning, in Metro Detroit, and the temp in my garage was 18*. Outside it was -2* with a windchill of about -20*. Didn't drive the Mustang either.
