Default Need your help on wheel offset

I'm getting the American RacingRazors 20x9 wheels. Most people have purchase the 24mm offset but they are producing a new 40mm offset that I can purchase at the tirerack and tiresbyweb.com. Will the 40mm fit better with a lowered car?

Mine are 6" backspacing (24mm)..my car is lowered and they gave me the perfect look..they stick out about 1/4inch from fenders

16mm diff will tuck your tires/rims in by about 2/3" of an inch. I'm not a fan of the 24mm look, while the 2/3" might not seem like a lot, honestly it makes quite a difference. Remember OE is 50mm on a 8.5" rim. Good find at 40mm.
