What parts of strut are reused when replacing springs and struts??
Hey guys. Had a thought this morning. I am installing H&R sport springs soon when I am back on summer tires in a few weeks. I might still stick with stock shocks as I hear they really work well with the H&R springs. But I also am considering picking up a set of aftermarket dampers.
BUT.
I had an interesting idea. If I buy the aftermarket shocks. What else would I need to purchase to make a complete strut assembly that I would have ready to install before removing the factory struts from the car?? I can assemble the whole deal on the bench and have them ready to go in as a unit and not have to dissasemble the factory ones.
I am guessing I would need strut bearings, insulators, bumpstops, and maybe some hardware at the most?
