Default Courtesy Lights

Need your help.

Looking to add some courtesy lights under the dash. Probably not a big deal to many of you, but wondering if anyone has attempted this? I searched the forums and couldn't find anything, other than the 08 Mustang may have an option for more interior lights. I searched the web and found plenty of sites that have LED's for motorcycles, but couldn't find anything for auto's. Those lights come in many colors and they are 12 volt so they probably would work, but like to see if any of you have tried that or something else.

Thanks in advance.
