ORIGINAL: CaptRestless

From what I've learned...

The pistons are hyperteunetic (sp?) and the rods are powder coated.... something.

Although the V6 apparently has forged rods which doesn't make sense to me....
I don't understand this either. Does anyone know the reason?

Default RE: Forged Bottom End Question

from what i understand if you have someone do it......it would take one person about 20hrs to take the engine apart and about 20+hrs to put in all your new stuff and reassemble at like 80.00 per hr labor.....thats a damn pretty penny...not to mention the cost of the parts.......
