Here's an example I've seen. I was in this shop and saw it in person. Look at the last pic on the bottom right of the page. While I was there, a guy showed up with his 05. He didn't want the lights mounted on the bumper, but instead installed them on a bracket, hanging below the bumper under the license plate.
