Default Can we review??

OK, I searched, and came across 133 1/2 different answers, Ijust bought Ford Racing 4:10 gears. Now I need to know if I have my shop install, how much and what kind of gear oil do I need. Also, I need someone to walk me through using my SCT programmer to change the ratio in the computer. (or do I need to get a whole new tune?) And lastly, is there anything my shop is going to need to have on hand in order to complete the job, other than the pinion set?? Sorry have to visit this more, but I couldnt find a do it yourself gear swap, to refer to.

thanks everyone!!!

You couldn't find a do it yourself gear swap because it is not a smart thing to do. Your shop should have everything they need and if they don't KNOW what they need, find a new shop. Don't leave the gear swap to amatuers.

Ok, thanks... I think, but lets try it this way then, which gear oil do you recommend, and how much so I can have the right stuff on hand when I get the install, and I still need some help on programming for the gears.

Thanks
