Default Shift Light

Who has one and what kind? Did you install it yourself? Do the cigarette lighter variety work?

Yeah, I would like to know too. The only thing that kind of scared me off was to install it, you have to mess with a bunch of wires and ****...True?

I have an autometer tach/shift light. I didn't do install, so can't help there. It is set at the moment at 5000 rpm and works great. It's extremely bright and definitely grabs your attention when illuminated.

I have the Raptor and it's one of the easier, and best, installs I've done. 3 wires - 1 ground, 1 hot, and 1 to the nearest COP. I comes with a mounting bracket or you can mount it yourself with velcro just about anywhere (a lot of people mount it inside the air vent)and when it goes off its like sunshine.

You can also avoid adding more wiring to the rats nest of wires on top of the engine and wire the Raptor to the PCM. There are 3 plugs. The middle plug has a red and red in 35/36 wire up the red to either of those for switched 12V. The very bottom plug had the green/white in pin 17. Wire the green up to it for the coil signal
