I'd like to get hired with Boyd just I could get into it with his shop supervisior Dewayne I think? I think that guys a dick...then I tell Boyd to get rid of those ugly *** shirts he wears. He's got enough money, he doesn't need any of mine.

Most of Boyd'searlier wheels were designed by Chip Foose....That is why Boyd was so pissed when Foose wanted to leave and start his own company. Foose was the brain behind the design of the wheels.

Supposedly, the show is faked, just to get ratings for the Discovery networks...However, if it IS faked, are you going to want to buy products from someone who would do that?

And let's consider if he DOESN'T act it all out...The guy seems like a jerk who, if you had a problem with the wheels, he'd probably say, "Tough luck, I don't give refunds or exchanges."

It was funny; I saw him at the Good Guys Car show here in San Diego last year, and he was supposed to be signing posters. NOBODY was there getting anything signed. He just got a lot of dirty looks.

The Boyd Coddington Wheels are nice, they are custom made to order to expect to wait a month or so for the wheels. Also most (if not all at this point) are 3 piece wheels, which is another reason for the expense.

Newstalgia Wheels sells them. Personally I am looking at the Osiris 2s and the Timeless wheels. But I also like iForged, HRE and Fiske wheels.

Back to the original post....

Looks like you would be paying for the (overpriced) name. They look like standard GT takeoffs to me.

Oh yeah, +1 to those who think Codddington is a a$$.
