Question for you,

I got my C&L true flow intake and was wondering if anyone has tried or bothered polishing the inside of the intake.

It is pretty rough, and was wondering if the time and effort used to polish the inside would be worth the gains in hp.

Any thoughts?

Also for the air filter, do you need to oil it? or do you just throw it on and your good to go for 10k or so?

 

not worth polishing it.... but yeah, never thought about cleaning the intake but you could do that. just use some k&n cleaner when it gets real dirty or upgrade to a k&n airfilter.
