ORIGINAL: billyjo

in the trunk i took out all the carpet and the spare tire(whick is bigger then i thought it would be and with an awsome lamenated instuction sheet) and put pink house insulation. I ducked taped it down so it was thinner and no pink was showing and then replaced all the carpet and sides. 12 dollars
wait, you mean like rolled pink panther stuff? or the hard foam stuff that's in big rectangles????

The key here were the U clamps he used. I posted about this a while back. In my case it didn't completely eliminated the drone, but it was definitely reduced. Although the instructions say to use the factory clamps, I find the U shaped clamps sealed better.
