Well I knew I wanted stripes from the start. The color wasn't too hard to choose with Yellow either.

The only color that even works for yellow is Black, Silver or White.

These cars look great in almost any color and striped look great as well. Some colors I think though look better without stripes. I think the Redfire is one of them IMO. Yellow on the other hand looks better with them. Your color looks good either way, but I do like Black or a Silver on that color.

There is one car around my area that is the same color as yours but they used a Magenta color LeMans stripes, looks awful and is driven by a guy.
I think your car looks great with black stripes! I personally am considering Alloy Metallic stripes.

But do you think I can get that color in vinyl? [:-]

Well I'm sure most companies have a limited variety of colors in vinyl. But you never know. I have never seen Alloy Metallic stripes. I did see a Mustang in you color that did have Metallic Beige color stripes or what ever they call it. I think Ford has them.

Here are the colors from BSM. Perhaps number19 is close to Alloy Metallic?...

save the money and go with painted if you know that you're going to want to keep them.

wow, yea, your stripes are pretty messed up. Taking them off shouldn't be too bad. The only thing I'd be worried about would be faded paint around the stripes, but with paint technology these days it shouldn't be much of an issue, especially with such a low miles 06. Start somewhere kinda inconspicuous and start pulling the vinyl off. Scratch it up with your fingernail or something like that and start pulling. A heat gun helps soften the adhesive, but a hair dryer will work too if you don't have a heat gun. After it's all off, if it's really sticky, use an adhesive remover to remove residue. If it's not too bad, claybar the whole panel and you shouldn't be able to tell it was there. Hope this helps, it's the method I used to pull some stripes off of my old car when I had to pull them off to have the car painted. (it saved some cash to do it myself as opposed to paying the body guy extra hours to do it)
