Stick or auto, it's a Mustang that is being driven. Some want to go auto, some want to go stick. Never regret a Mustang!

If you drive a lot in stop-and-go traffic (especially in hilly terrain), an automatic really makes more sense. And not to be chauvinistic, but you don't have to worry that your girl friend or wife is going to have trouble driving it. Also, automatics are pretty bullet-proof if properly maintained. I have owned many cars with automatics over the years and never had a single problem with them. Manuals on the other hand..... let's see, clutches, throw-out bearings, master and slave cylinders, etc.

But I still prefer the manual. I like to be in control. But there is nothing wrong with an automatic. Depending on the shifting skill of thedriver, the automatic could even be faster.
